Training should be relevant and tailored to meet the specific needs of the role. Skill-based training programs focus on both hard skills, such as technical abilities, and soft skills, like communication and teamwork. When employees feel competent in their roles, they are more confident and motivated. Regularly assessing skill gaps and updating training programs ensures that employees continue to develop expertise in key areas, making them more valuable assets to the organization.

Hard Skills & Soft Skills

Since hard skills focuses on technical abilities and soft skills dealing with communication and teamwork, both to be essentially well balanced in most of the roles. Hard skills help perform tasks while soft skills enable successful interaction and adaptability in a team environment.

How to Gain New Skills (Cloke, H. 2023).

The great news is that hard skills and soft skills can be learned. Hard skills can be acquired by earning a degree, completing on-the-job training, or taking courses. Soft skills are, at some level, innate—for instance, some people are naturally better communicators or more punctual than others. But there are ways to develop or take those skills to the next level. Groups like Toastmasters International, for example, can help introverts become better public speakers. Someone who tends to be disorganized can hire a professional organizer and follow tips to reduce the clutter in their home. Anyone who finds themselves in a leadership role with no experience as a manager can take a course and learn how to lead.

Whether you need to develop hard skills or soft skills to prepare yourself for a new role or a new career altogether, online education is a great option. Online learning is flexible—you don’t have to drive to a campus to take classes at a specific time. All you need is an internet connection, and you can learn anywhere that is convenient for you. You can earn a degree online, but sometimes earning a professional certificate or completing a course online could be all you need to gain valuable skills that you can use immediately on the job.

    1. Two Questions.
Answer for Q1 is no doubt, it's blended learning. When we consider milling industry, Hard skills like operating machineries, QC are the precise measurements in our recipe, has to blended with soft skills like teamwork, communications and problem solving. It's just like addition of pinch of salt bring out the flavor. Blended learning is like kneading the dough. How better you kneading will rise the loaf.
      Q2 regarding 3 theories,
      01. Control theory says that learners seek equilibrium-balancing their effort to achieve desired outcome. Just like Thusharika, you're controlling temperature of your home refrigerator by regulating its thermostat.
      02. Attribution theory explores how learners attribute their success and failures. i.e. Learners believe their efforts rather than external factors/ influences.
      03. Goal theory is nothing but set clear challenging goals for the learners. No matter how harder the task, goals provide direction and purpose clearly.
